Lanka Sky News website reports that there is a plan to arrest several journalists who participated in the protest held opposite the Attorney General’s Office in Colombo on February 6 against the release of three suspects in connection with the murder case of journalist Lasantha Wickramatunga.
We have learned from very reliable sources that the journalists are being prepared to be arrested on charges of contempt of court.

The discussion held at the Attorney General’s Department following the protest held in front of the Attorney General’s Office did not discuss any action to be taken against the journalists who held the protest.
